Jenni has asked me to let you know what is happening - I've had several texts and am VERY happy to report that she sounds upbeat and cheerful.

She was admitted this morning and later seen by the rheummy who says she is "a very unusual and interesting case and was very interested in my abnormal hand and wonkiness!"

"Count Dracula's assistant has been and managed to draw blood first time"

She is now relaxing in bed listening to Amy Winehouse on her i-pod.

Obviously they haven't told her anything yet, but I'm sure she'll let one of us know as son as she has any news.

Love Jeanxxxx

Thank God Jenni still has her sense of humour. She didn't sleep too well last night as she is on the "old bids" ward and someone has been wailing all night. However, the wonderful news is that the two doctors are extremely dishy but, sadly (for Jenni) neither wishes to give her a full body examination or an eye exam!! She's very disappointed by this! She's sure Mary, Julie and Barbara will be hot footing it down there when they read this.

She's off for X-rays today. I'll keep you updated as and when

That's a bit of a disappointment for Jenni! LOL

Tell her to keep trying....perhaps I'll have to go and smuggle in some red wine??

Tell her we are all on our way with supplies......or perhaps not, she may abscond. Might be better to surprise her.
We would need the fire engines to take us in this weather.

Oh well, might as well join you just to ensure that you behave! Jenni would be disappointed if not!

Hope that she gets some sleep tonight and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
